TLDR
Work is assigned by department and certification, not by whoever is free. LP and structural welding are certified technician only.
OCRV Center staffs separate structural, body and paint, interior, systems, and fabrication departments. Work is assigned by certification, and LP gas and structural welding are performed only by technicians certified for those processes.
Our Departments
- Structural: Measurement against factory specification, frame straightening, sectioning, and certified welding in steel and aluminum.
- Body and paint: Panel repair and replacement, fiberglass lamination, spectrophotometer color matching, and downdraft booth refinish.
- Interior: In house cabinetry, flooring, subfloor, wall panels, upholstery, and countertops in marine grade materials.
- Systems: 12V and 120V electrical, solar and lithium, generator, plumbing, LP, and appliances. LP work is certified technician only.
- Fabrication: Custom bumpers, racks, storage, structural reinforcement, and parts that no longer exist.
- Estimating and claims: Documentation, carrier communication, supplements, and the weekly updates you actually receive.
How Work Gets Assigned
A job is assigned to the technician certified for that specific process, not to whoever is available. That sounds obvious and it is the single most common thing that separates a shop where repairs hold from one where they come back.
It also means a multi discipline job moves between departments in sequence rather than being handled end to end by one generalist. Structural completes and verifies before body starts. Body completes before paint. Systems verify after everything is reassembled.
