About Collision and Structural Services in Newport Beach
Collision and structural repair covers frame straightening, chassis alignment, unibody correction, fiberglass and delamination work, and full body panel replacement. OCRV Center performs all of it in shop in Yorba Linda for Newport Beach owners, with direct billing to every major insurance carrier.
When a Newport Beach RV, camper van, trailer, or commercial truck comes out of a collision, the damage you can see is rarely the damage that matters most. A cracked front cap or a caved sidewall is obvious. A shifted frame rail, a delaminated sidewall skin, or a twisted subframe is not, and those are the failures that turn a repairable vehicle into a total loss six months later. Our collision and structural department at OCRV Center exists to find both. We measure before we cut, we document before we quote, and we submit that documentation directly to your carrier so the approved estimate reflects what your vehicle actually needs rather than what a desk adjuster guessed from three photos. Newport Beach owners bring us everything from Balboa Peninsula parking scrapes to freeway impacts on the 55 and 405.
Problems We Solve
These are the situations Newport Beach owners bring us most often for this work. If yours is not listed, call and describe it. We would rather tell you it is outside our scope than take a job we are not the right shop for.
- Frame or chassis shifted out of specification after an impact, causing uneven tire wear and pulling
- Front or rear fiberglass cap cracked, punctured, or separated from the substrate
- Sidewall delamination spreading from an impact point or an unsealed seam
- Body panels misaligned so doors, bays, and slide rooms no longer seat correctly
- Hidden structural damage that a previous shop covered rather than corrected
- Insurance estimate written well below the structural work the vehicle actually requires
Our Process
- Documented intake and damage mapping: Every panel, seam, and structural member is photographed and logged before a single fastener is removed.
- Measurement and teardown: We measure the frame and structure against factory specification, then disassemble to expose what the photos could not show.
- Supplement and carrier coordination: Hidden damage is documented and submitted to your adjuster as a supplement so the approval matches the vehicle.
- Structural correction: Frame straightening, sectioning, welding, and fiberglass laminate work performed by the technician certified for that specific process.
- Refinish, reassembly, and quality control: Panels are blended, systems are function tested, and the vehicle passes a multi point inspection before delivery.

Insurance Notes
Structural damage is where carriers most often underwrite the first estimate. We document to the measurement, not to the photo, and we supplement early so approval delays do not stack up at the end of the job.
We bill direct with every major carrier and hold direct repair relationships with several. Read how the claim process works or the 25 things carriers do not tell you about RV and van claims.
