How This Shop Came to Exist

Our Story

TLDR

The shop was built around one observation: the delay in RV repair is not the work, it is the handoffs between vendors.

OCRV Center was built as a single facility performing collision, paint, structural, interior, and systems work in house, because splitting recreational vehicle repair across multiple vendors is what creates most of the delay owners experience.

The Problem We Set Out to Solve

Anyone who has owned a recreational vehicle for more than a few years has lived this. A body shop takes the collision damage but will not touch the slide. A dealer takes the systems work but subcontracts the paint. Each vendor waits on the other, the adjuster waits on two estimates, and a repair that involves maybe six weeks of actual labor stretches across four months of calendar.

Nothing in that sequence is anyone acting badly. Each shop is doing what it is equipped to do. The failure is structural: nobody owns the whole job, so nobody owns the schedule.

What We Built Instead

A 35,000 square foot facility with a paint booth sized for full length Class A motorhomes, structural measurement equipment, an interior shop that builds cabinetry, a systems department with certified LP and electrical technicians, and a fabrication bay with certified welders. One address, one work order, one point of contact.

The measurable result is that jobs requiring three vendors elsewhere routinely finish here in a third of the time, not because anyone works faster but because nothing sits waiting to be transported and re inspected.

Where We Are Now

  • Serving Newport Beach and Orange County since 2015
  • 50 to 150 repairs per month
  • 20 major collisions per month
  • 50 to 100 paint jobs per month
  • California BAR licensed ARD00288521, EPA compliant CAL000367879
  • 200+ five star reviews from owners across Southern California

On a given day the floor holds a Class A diesel pusher, a current model Sprinter conversion, a Rivian delivery van, a municipal utility truck, and a vintage restoration. That range is deliberate. It is what keeps the technicians sharp across every discipline rather than specialized into one.

Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

How long have you been in business?

Serving Orange County since 2015, with more than 35+ years of combined experience across the shop floor.

Are you a franchise?

No. Single location, independently operated, which is why the same people are here when your vehicle comes back for something else in three years.

What is the strangest thing you have worked on?

A 1959 Flxible bus restoration running alongside current model Sprinters and Rivians. Vintage work is a genuine part of what we do rather than a novelty.
